Representative profile
Takuya Yoshinaga
Born in Fukuoka City in 1977.
At the age of 20, he traveled alone to the South American continent. During his time there, he gained diverse international business experience, including the banana trade in Ecuador and the handicraft trade in Peru. Later, in Brazil, he served as a social affairs reporter for the Japanese-language daily newspaper, Jornal São Paulo Shimbun.
Upon returning to Japan at the age of 30, he established the Fukuoka Bureau of the newspaper. Since then, he has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit through various ventures, including serving as the owner of the Fukuoka branch of KYODAI Remittance—Japan’s leading international money transfer service—and managing real estate properties.
He also serves as the Chairman of the Neighborhood Association for the Tenjin area, the heart of Fukuoka City (one of Japan’s five major cities), where he remains an active leader in community development and urban revitalization.
In 2021, he founded Ricars Japan, dedicated to exporting high-quality Japanese vehicles to markets across Asia, Central, and South America.
